Priorities

Alex Kelloff is focused on lowering everyday costs for families while strengthening local economies across Colorado’s 3rd District—especially in rural communities.

He believes investing in infrastructure, small businesses, and workforce development will create jobs and reduce costs over time.

Alex will:

• Support small businesses and local entrepreneurs through smarter tax and regulatory policies

• Invest in infrastructure like housing, energy, water, transportation, and broadband

• Expand workforce training programs, including Pell Grants, TRIO, the GI Bill, and CAMP

• Promote local industries like agriculture, food production, and co-ops to keep more money in communities

• Repeal tariffs that increase costs for businesses and families

Alex believes every American should have access to basic healthcare, including vision, dental, and mental health services.

He is focused on building a system that works efficiently, delivers quality care, and expands access—especially in rural communities.

Alex will:

• Expand access to affordable healthcare coverage for all Americans

• Lower prescription drug costs

• Improve access to care in rural communities

• Support and strengthen VA hospitals and clinics

Public lands and water are central to life and the economy in Colorado’s 3rd District.

Alex is committed to protecting these resources from short-term decisions that put long-term sustainability at risk.

Alex will:

• Protect public lands from being sold or overdeveloped

• Keep water resources in local communities

• Secure reliable water access for agriculture and rural areas

• Support conservation and science-based environmental policy

• Ensure local communities have a voice in land and water decisions

Alex believes the rule of law must apply equally to everyone, including those in positions of power.

He is committed to strengthening accountability and preventing abuse of authority.

Alex will:

• Reform presidential pardon powers to prevent abuse

• Oppose unconstitutional executive actions

• Repeal policies that act as hidden taxes on Americans

Alex believes elected officials should be held to the highest standards and serve the public—not themselves.

He supports reforms that increase transparency, reduce conflicts of interest, and restore trust in government.

Alex will:

• Ban stock trading by members of Congress

• Support term limits

• Advocate for a lifetime ban on members of Congress becoming lobbyists

• Ensure elected officials are held to the same standards as all Americans

Alex believes the national debt is a serious long-term challenge that requires responsible action.

He supports balanced, practical solutions that strengthen the economy while maintaining key commitments.

Alex will:

• Protect the independence of the Federal Reserve

• Support policies that maintain a strong U.S. dollar

• Reform the tax code to broaden the base and increase fairness

• Reduce wasteful government spending

Alex believes every eligible American should be able to vote easily and securely.

He supports practical measures that improve access while maintaining election integrity.

Alex will:

• Protect access to in-person, mail-in, and early voting

• Ensure clear and accessible voting processes

• Support efforts to protect election systems from interference

Alex believes money in politics undermines trust and creates unfair influence.

He supports reforms that reduce the role of large donors and increase transparency.

Alex will:

• Support efforts to overturn Citizens United

• Advocate for limits on campaign spending timelines

• Support public funding options for campaigns

Alex supports a balanced approach to immigration that secures the border while creating clear, legal pathways.

He believes the current system is inefficient and needs reform to better serve the economy and communities.

Alex will:

• Support secure borders and enforcement of immigration laws

• Create clear, legal pathways to citizenship

• Improve efficiency in immigration courts

• Reform visa programs to support economic growth while protecting U.S. workers

Alex believes in a strong national defense, standing with our allies, and defending democracy at home and abroad. He is disgusted with the way we have treated our friends and allies and have instead sought to get closer to our traditional adversaries, likely putting our country and the world at greater risk. He also believes in ensuring our veterans get the care, benefits and respect they deserve. 

Alex will: 

• Rebuild trust with our allies while pushing them to take on more defense responsibility 

• Double down on our soft power by rebuilding the State Department and other government assets that further U.S. goodwill and promote our traditional values 

• Ensure that we have a strong military to project U.S. power, protect the homeland and protect U.S. interests 

• Fully fund VA resources and benefits
